Welcome to DEYP!
The Digital Encyclopedia for Young Pianists is a monthly blog dedicated to exploring the world of classical composers. This non-profit project aims to compile, organize and disseminate information about these great musical geniuses. Here, you will find profiles not only of already established masters, but also of historically erased figures and regional masters worthy of renown. My mission is to inspire young pianists to know and appreciate the rich musical heritage that has shaped the history and tradition of classical music. I believe that education and access to information are fundamental to the development of an artist. Therefore, I invite you to explore the content of the encyclopedia, to learn about the giants who preceded us, to get to know their works and to understand their legacies in music. Join me on this journey of discovery and celebration of classical music.

About me:
Hello, my name is Carlos Eduardo and I am the writer behind DEYP. I am currently a piano and music theory student at the Brazilian Conservatory of Music. I enjoy investing time in studying the lives and works of great composers. Every now and then, I play a few notes on the violin and also try composing.
This project is part of the Creativity, Activity and Service activities that I am developing throughout my International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme. I have high expectations for this musical journey that I am embarking on and hope that the DEYP will become a valuable source of inspiration and learning for young pianists around the world.
